UGA Stacks Teams in Preparation for Regionals, Nationals

11.18.09 UGA Mock Trial "stacked" its teams this week into two "A" teams and two "B" teams in preparation for Regionals and Nationals.

Stacking is a process the Executive Board undertakes in November of each year, and is based primarily on performance at Fall invitationals.

ELITE: UGA Becomes Only Student-Coached Program in Nation with 4 Bids to Nationals

3.1.10 After receiving two more bids to Nationals at this weekend's Birmingham Regional, UGA Mock Trial became the only student-coached program in the United States to earn four bids to Nationals.

Last year, the only student-coached Mock Trial program to achieve that feat was Harvard University, who was unable to qualify four teams this year.

3.1.10 UGA's A Teams swept through the Birmingham Regional this weekend, collecting two more bids to Nationals and finishing with the best Regionals record in program history.
